There is a consistent subtext that runs through Horne's work, an undercurrent of mystery. Seemingly to implicate the viewer in subtle ways that challenge the notions of material reality and the reliability of the senses to correspond with what exists and what is really real.
Horne was the co-director of Christopher Cutts Gallery, Toronto (2005 - 2015), the founding editor at TUSSLE magazine (2013 - present) and curator at TussleProjects (2020-present). Horne is currently an associate at FreedmanArt, New York (2018 - present) and previously at Zurcher Gallery, New York/Paris (2017-2018).
Horne is a student of NYC crit club and previously graduated from the journalism program at St. Clair, Windsor (2000), communications at the University of Windsor (2001) and received a postgraduate degree in digital media and design at George Brown, Toronto (2003), design at Ontario College of Art and Design University, Toronto (2008).
